Windows 7 will receive more than 2,000 arrangements with the bug’s beta testers

Many applications were originally released as "beta" for testing with a select group of users, but in the end we never found out if the testing worth it or not. This time Microsoft is being very transparent, and has shared the world with interesting information about the trial period of Windows 7. In an article in the Engineering Windows 7 blog, Steven, vice president of Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, says that over 2000 bugs will be corrected by information provided by people who downloaded over 10 million copies of the new operating system. During one week last January received a report about every fifteen seconds, and ended with more than 500,000 reported.
